Three players crucial to United’s chances of beating Liverpool

United have made a great start to the season, and look like they have a real chance of going all the way. However their first big test comes in the shape of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool who have had an up and down start to the campaign. In one of the biggest games in English football, one of the key questions is who are the indispensable men who boss- Jose Mourinho simply cannot leave out.

David De Gea- Arguably the best keeper in the world, De Gea is vital for United as he can pull off match winning saves, and can be relied upon to perform in the big games. Therefore his inclusion on Saturday is a no-brainer, and if he performs to the best of his ability, he could ensure United head back to Manchester with all three points.

Romelu Lukaku- The Belgian scoring genius has not been fazed by the bright lights of the theatre of dreams, and goes into Saturdays game Premier League top scorer, with seven goals in as many matches. The talismanic centre forward has been a revelation so far and having already bagged five goals against Liverpool during his career, you wouldnt bet against him increasing that tally this weekend.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan- After a slow start to his career in England, there is no doubt Mkhitaryan is showing the kind of performances that warranted his big money move from Borrusia Dortmund. Six assists and two goals in ten games underline how vital he is to Jose Mourinho’s men, and United fans around the world will be hoping he can provide the ammunition for strikers Lukaku and Rashford to put Liverpool to the sword.

Who do you think will come out victorious in the weekends biggest game? Let us know in the comments…
