Nottingham Forest beat Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend to secure their first victory under new manager Aitor Karanka and the clubs first 3 points in the league since 9th December when they beat Bolton Wanderers.
The victory saw Nottingham Forest rise to 14th in the Championship table and now we are in the middle of a transfer window manager Aitor Karanka could look to add to his squad in an attempt to claw back the deficit of those teams who occupy the playoff spots.
Forest have conceded 43 goals in the Championship this season and that will be something Karanka will want to address quickly in order to help the team climb the table.
With that in mind, the club should turn to Manchester City defender Tosin Adarabioyo.
Toisin Adarbioyo – The young Manchester City defender has featured on a couple of occasions for Pep Guardiola’s side in this seasons Champions League and EFL Cup, but with the Premier League leaders looking set to complete the signing of Aymeric Laporte, Adarabioyo will be pushed further down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium.
If City do complete the signing of Laporte then it will restrict Adarbioyo amount of game time, as he will then be competing with other first-team regulars like John Stones, Nicolas Otamendi and Vincent Kompany for a place in the first team, so it may be beneficial for him to look for a loan move away and with Forest having conceded a large number of goals he could be the perfect fit in the defence.
Nottingham Forest, would you like to see Tosin Adarabioyo at the City Ground? Let us know in the comments section…
