Huddersfield Town striker, Karlan Grant, is reportedly linked to a move away from West Yorkshire in the upcoming January transfer window.
Interest comes from Premier league side Wolverhampton Wanderers. The fee is rumoured to be in the region of £10m.
Wolves have no concerns over goal scorers, with fan favourite Raul Jimenez sustaining his form from last campaign.
Karlan, 22, signed for Huddersfield Town in January 2019. The centre forward has exceeded all expectations since arriving in Huddersfield. Grant netted 4 times in 9 starts, as the Terriers Premier league stay came to an end.
Karlan has continued to impress this season, accumulating 9 goals in 15 starts, ranking him 4th in the top scorer charts in the Championship – helping The Terriers escape the relegation zone.
Huddersfield head coach Danny Cowley has claimed he is not uneasy about the recent reports, linking Grant with a move away from Huddersfield. In a recent interview, Cowley said ”We know that if we are able to get our players into a place where they’re playing at their best then they’re always going to attract interest.
Notwithstanding, the circulating story has not gone down well with Wolves fans. A substantial amount of Wanderers fans have taken to Twitter, to voice their displeasure. Huddersfield’s star striker has been deemed “not good enough” by the majority of the Wolverhampton fan base.
Do you think Karlan Grant would fit into the Wolves attack?
